Title: Chirp download --- Windows 7?
Post by: Kenwood_nerd on April 03, 2020, 1953 UTC
I recently dug my little qrp Luiton LT898UV  out and was messing with it. I decided to add some repeater frequencies via Chirp and had no luck. I downloaded it and it shows up in my programs list in Control Panel but the usual desktop icon was nowhere to be found. Help! I am too stubborn to get Windows 10 and still have a lot of luck on Windows 7 and will stay there until I can no longer use it. Could it be that Chirp does not recognize Windows 7 any longer? Suggestions? Comments? Thanks

Joe

Chirp is still supported on Windows 7. Click on your Windows start button and look for it in there.

See section 2.3:
