Not music or radio related, but an interesting story with Newfoundland and US ties.  (And it is an obituary, so I hope at least Fansome will enjoy it ;D)

And don't apologize for posting an obit; the obituaries are really the main reason that people visit this site.

I listened to his story on As It Happens.

Very moving tale. Just about to give up and die, too.....

Perhaps this site is actually "The Dead Poets Society" or,
