Title: 4 MHz beacons
Post by: zackers on March 24, 2012, 1527 UTC
This morning was a fairly good morning for the CW beacons. Strange, because I haven't heard any of them all winter.

I woke up at 0930Z to tune around. Over the next half hour I heard these with the assistance of Spectrum Lab:

4079.65 TMP beacon - often copied partial characters, copied a "MP" once and the full number 0 once.

4096.00 - dits?
4096.05 - dits?
4096.26 - dashes
4096.46 - dashes?
4096.52 - dits?
4096.59 - dashes - by far the strongest signal of all of these
4096.70 - dashes

So they weren't as strong as they were a couple years ago but still in there this morning in Urbana, Illinois.

Still no CO on ~3449.8. I suspect it's dead.
