SINPO 23222 Slow fading out of the noise, clear at fade ups with some SSB QRM now and then. I believe this mystery station may be from Holland due to it's musical selection of Dutch 1960s band "The Jumping Jewels".
2026 I'm the urban spaceman - Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band
2030 Africa - The Jumping Jewels
2034 Right here waiting - Richard Marx
2037 The Heart of the Matter - Don Henley

Fair signal here. I'm guessing not Holland, rather think it's closer to me. Low frequencies tend to have better ground wave and this signal is very weak in Holland. Quite a different signal to Mike Radio on 3940. If it is in my part of the world, then it's further than ground wave which makes DFing it difficult.

on 3400.0++
(trace already at 17h-19h, often disturbed by French freebanders on 3400 LSB)
2123 pop, noisy, 2131
2204 pops, 2211 ska, etc... non-stop music, 2300
2334 Canned Heat "On the road again"

I think signal is coming from Ireland .... a check I did on SDRs in Ireland & SW England found the signal on the Irish SDR was much stronger

Yes, maybe it is Ireland. On 90 meters (3400 khz), I should think at best, groundwave will not go much further than 5 to 10 km at low power with a vertical, but NVIS will give a reasonable local signal... and I suspect this isn't high power, unlike Mike Radio. Certainly, at my QTH in Northern England, the signal is not too strong, during the evenings I have so far heard this signal. My antenna is quite sensitive with low background noise around 70 to 90 meters wavelength, so it REALLY isn't a strong signal here.
