Good signal in New Hampshire, S6 with low noise levels (so far)
2321z Radio Free Whatever ID with DJ Dickweed
2336z ID, sounding good with good music in lieu of...
2350z DJ Dickweed is on 75 meters cause he wants to have a big beefy signal in his home territory (the upper right quadrant of the US)
-
SINPO=55555 basically. Signal killing it!
2328- "Wading Out" by Favourite People (instrumental).
2330- Recorded ID, OM, "Shortwave, new rock alternative...Radio Free Whatever."
2330- "Time Frame" by Speck Joliet.
2335- DJ Dickweed IDs and then identifies last three songs. IDs again. Your place to hear indie rock that Dickweed has discovered and wants to share with you. Tries to filter out the bad stuff and only keep the good and share pretty good stuff. Gives us the jewels, the diamonds in the rough. IDs.
2337- "Something You Can't See" by Desert Sessions.

S7 and good audio @ 2335 with "Time Frame" by Speck Joliet

What's with the wintertime frequency? It's still sunny even where you are comrade! Not for long I realize, we're closer to the Autumnal Equinox than the Summer Solstice, but still.
EDIT forgot to say that the signal's good at Smolinski's SDR in Maryland.
2349 I'm getting the business from DJDW.... that's pirate radio! I guess I'll cry myself to sleep over never getting this signal with my own equipment again.... *sob*
0152 alright.... finally hearing something here on a radio that is my own and not the property of someone in another state with an internet connection. Now I'm not against web SDRs - far from it! - but there's nothing like copying things with your own RX. I hope you stick around for an hour or so as you hinted earlier, comrade. :)

Very Good Reception
2345 Unid song
-
ID at 2337z and 0013z.
Under S1, but that is via my 148' loop-on-ground without preamp, so it is a relatively easy copy with a quick twist of the volume knob. ;) Frequent static crashes, which is typical summertime noise at my QTH, but strong modulation is carrying through them.
As always DJ DW, thanks for the broadcast! :)
————————-
Peaking S3+ at 0033z.
Peaking S4+ at 0048z.
Conditions seem to be improving. Would be practically armchair copy if not for static crashes.
Thanks for the shout-out!

0009 End of a song, canned ID, song, DJ Dickweed with ID and announced next song.
S6 here with a noise blob just above it (may be local.)

::) Best copy on Holland, Mass Sigma KIWI. S-9 and over. Processed audio with some pro gear all inside 4 khz, congratulations. We all would like one of those processors, bro.
Thanks for shout out and good engineering sense on SW never use more BW than you need. Fool the human ear lobes. I know some fools think FM and SW are same. Oh well.. Yes, thanks for the processor disclosure.

Hearing clear in Baltimore County, Maryland

Thanks for shout out. Good engineering common sense for shortwave indeed very broad bandwidths run into very big turd piles because of adjacent channels and the old engineers rule on radio, more bandwidth than you need get more noise.
NASA knows this well from The Martian Landers.
Perfect sense to try to get those sigs strong because most listeners don't have beef or even chopped liver for RECEIVERS or antennas.

0025 Tune in. Thanks for the show DW
0032 Taste Your Love - VC Pines S7 getting slowly weaker.
0143 Trials - Cults Signal now recovered and S-8!
