Title: Radio France International 15300 am 1652 utc 8 Sep 2020
Post by: Ct Yankee on September 08, 2020, 1701 UTC
Fair reception

1652 YL and OM speaking in Hausa, RFI's lone hour in Hausa each day.
1656 West African music
1659 Off
1700 IS, reception much better*, ID in French.
1701 Sounds like OM giving news broadcast
1721 2 OM's conversing in French

* - Upon research on short-wave.info, both broadcasts are transmitted at equal power but the broadcast in Hausa is beamed 170 degrees from Issoudun while the French broadcast is at 200 degrees - a little more North American friendly.

Glad to hear that they're still on the air.... I remember back in the 1990's when they were on almost 24/7, with their cool bumper / IS music. Those were the days.
