SDR recording catch. Weak music, signal improving towards the end, signed off at 0544. Never could pull out an ID, if there was one.

Thanks, Chris!  Most likely what I recorded here.  Being near the noise, the signal history was of little value in determining if this was a fade-in or a sign-on at 0526.  I heard no audio here prior to this time.

Code to post-process recorded IQ files and parse out audio is in process, but just a back-burner thing due to other projects.  The utility of your code is apparent!

6 June 2012  Audio Recorder Capture

Caught a weak program right at the noise.  Receiver was tuned to 6925.0, and was pretty far off optimal.  From the Strength History, seemed to be about S5 - S6.

Heard a program of 4 slow bluesy vocals, all sung by YL, and all probably the same artist.  I got the impression that this may have been concert audio, and that the artist was talking between some selections.  Nothing resembling an ID was heard.

0527 First tune
0531 Second tune, with a piano intro
0534 Some YL talk, possibly the artist.  Could only understand "...so, uh..."
0535 Third tune
0538 Final tune.  There was a big hum, origin unknown, over this until 0542
0544 No further audio noted.

Thanks!

That would have been me. Been doing some testing in preparation for putting a station on the air. Power was 100 watts PEP...about 40 watts average into a G5RV. I haven't come up with a name for the station yet but you might hear a few more test transmissions in the next little while.
