Fair signal here through lots of noise. I can make out some of it listening in USB.
-
Better on USB here too. A lot of HF noise tonight.
Occasional fade-ins.
-
Carrier in GA, and a hint of audio every now and then. Signal S3, noise S2.9!
I seem to hear a bit more audio on the USB side
-
0059 WPON signed on again, 6925 USB
-
A bit better signal than earlier. Reggae song at 0108z, sounds like "Money World."
WPON ID at 0110.
-
I have them with a very weak signal on the FT-2000. I hear them, but nothing I can really make out. I've got a little too much daylight left here.
Much improved by 0130, with pink Floyd's Money and a song about Enron. SIO 322.
-
I didn't catch the earlier broadcast but found WPON coming on the air at 0100 UTC, usb mode (no carrier). Killer S9 signal here with good audio.

6/11/2012, 6925 kHz USB,

0141- 'where's the love, and where's that money go'

Recorder catch:
6925 (rx in USB) SIO 232
First show was weak, but still audible for the most part just above the noise with some fading.
23:58z-00:29z 1st WPON
Audio (complete broadcast): http://archive.org/download/ShortwavePirateRadioCont/Wpon6925Am-usb2358z-0029z06-10_11-12.mp3
Second show came in better (SIO 333) with some fading - dang audicity locked up on me about 15mins into 2nd broadcast, but still got a decent portion of the show. Missed the third one though :(
00:59z-01:45z 2nd WPON
Audio (00:59z-01:45z): http://archive.org/download/ShortwavePirateRadioCont/Wpon6925Usb0059z-0145z06-11-12.mp3
Thanks WPON! :)

Checking the SDR recording, the first transmission does indeed look like USB with a carrier. The carrier came up just as WPON went on the air, and went off just after the last ID, and was zero beat with the audio, making me suspect this was a transmitter that did AM with one carrier - I recall the Swan 350 did that, for example.
The second was just USB.
There was a third transmission at 0200z, with an ID heard at 0219z. ID and off at 0236z.
Some music heard again at 0239z, off at 0243z without an ID. May have been WPON again, the signal strength was about the same.

Glad you could confirm a carrier in the first broadcast; I was beginning to second guess my logbook entry.
FWIW, here is a graph of the ops' signal strengths as heard here:
from 10900 to 9000 seconds is the 1st WPON BC
from 7200 to 3700 seconds is the 2nd WPON BC
from 3600 to 1300 seconds is the 3rd WPON BC
from 1200 to 1000 seconds is the "Bob Marley" BC

What did you use to create the graph?

I use SDR-Radio for the most part. It has a running Strength History window which can set it's viewport from 1 minute to 12 hours, and has a screencap tool which saves the pane as a png.
