Very weak here, a carrier, and occasionally some audio, but that is about it.

Have been able to see a carrier since 2217, trace audio now and then with fades. Def OM talk at 2300. Strength here is building, but slowly.
Was eating dinner when it happened, but can definitely see the signal decline around 2305z. It has yet to rebound here at 2338.
2353 Hearing YL voice; Ms. Synth?
0009 Signal down from its rebound peak by abt 10dBm in the last 10 minutes.
0011 Very quick short peak up to S8; hrd a song frag w/ the lyric "on the radio"?
0048 Saw first sideband rendering in the waterfall; still, the fading is choppy, and hard to hear sustained audio; the whistling pesc has
taken up residence here now.
0130 Carrier has been here continuously since 0048, with only brief pop ups to snippets of talk or music
0132 Carrier off

Metro got zapped by the X1 flare we just had, signal went to zero, WWCR also got knocked down a bit. The flare is about done, and Metro's signal has actually improved some since prior to the flare, maybe because it is getting darker out and the band is starting to go long.

7/6/12, 6949.7 AM, 2245z: Ditto, via east coast remote tuned SDR, music I couldn't quite copy well enough to identify, chatter between guy and gal, "...for the show... drive home...". What little I could copy the audio seemed good, just not quite punching through fairly heavy QRN. Signal took a sharp dive just after 2300z, possibly the flare Chris mentioned.

7/7/12, 6950 AM, 0120z: Not sure if Metro again, sounds like same guy and gal chatting between rock songs. Just barely making it through heavy QRN, and occasional data/ute QRM on USB side.
0145z: Still have a carrier on 6950 but nothing audible other than occasional data/ute on USB.
