Title: UNID, 6925 kHz USB
Post by: John Poet on July 09, 2012, 0041 UTC
7/9/2012, 6925 kHz USB,

0030 UTC, very weak, picking up a presumed interval signal that sounds like 8-bit computer music.

0036, into music, too weak to ID.

SINPO=14331
S-0 to S-1 presently.  Maybe someone out there can get this better...

Improving at 0051, playing something that sounds like Bob Dylan but nothing I've heard before.

John, this is the Viva L'Amor song I ref'd here:    http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,7622.0.html

This was also heard earlier here 2328-2330z followed by Swedish Rhapsody 2331-2334, via recorder catch.

The music is Jerry Garcia, methinks, and has been fading since the start.
Dylan poss at 0050.
0056 poss Neil Young

Came on at 0030Z playing the Lincolnshire Poacher IS. Did that for around 5 minutes. Music started playing a few minutes later.

Perhaps the Lincolnshire Poacher only been on hiatus and it has been resurrected as a pirate station. One can only hope.

0030Z 25322 S2 Lincolnshire Poacher IS
0035Z IS off.
0046Z 15321 S1 Music. Deep in the noise with it occasionally coming up. Hard to identify the music.
0056Z 25322 S3 The fade ins are stronger now, but it still is weak & fades out. Not in long enough to ID much.
0058Z 25322 S3 Lincolnshire Poacher IS
0101Z Off air.

Thanks Linconshire Poacher! Glad to have you back with the new format.  :D

SDR recording catch, tough copy under the static, but the Lincolnshire Poacher music was recognizable.
