It's down in the noise a bit but sounds like a morse A.

I hear it clearly here, but I think it's part of the fat digital signal just above it:

Yes, just part of the Link-11 signal.

wogggieee I have been fooled by link 11 as well several times especially if it is coming in weak. This one at 6942 is prevalent here evenings among the pirates and peskies.  I think I read somewhere it is out of Jacksonville, FL along with one at 11016. But... I could be mistaken the way my brain is going these days.

I don't remember there being much of anything above it but I was likely too fixated on what I perceived as the beacon to notice. 

EDIT: Now that I think about it there was something that I brushed off as local noise just about that signal.
