Title: Golden Earring - dutch band - Quits

The Dutch group Golden Earring is calling it quits.
Is with co-founder and guitarist George Kooymans (72)
the muscle disease ALS.
"We would have preferred a farewell tour, but
unfortunately this is what it is, "said singer Barry Hay.
"Our last performance appears to have been in Ahoy in 2019.
A great show, but we would have preferred it differently. "
Replacing Kooymans is not an option.
"We are a group of friends of four men who are irreplaceable,"
  says drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk

I first heard them on Radio Nederland.... It's when Radar Love was a hit over there.

Always enjoyed their first few albums. Sad to hear Kooymans (the guitarist) has ALS. Man.

Very sad to hear, they still play Radar Love here in the States on classic radio stations.
