6917,5 kHz CW. Weaker than "V" (6928 kHz) here. But also with a some errors and breaks.

Also hearing it in NH on Sept 16, 2012 at 2134z. It's a couple hours before sunset and the signal is about even with the S2 noise level. The frequency and "errors and breaks" match comments in the original post.
I can just barely hear the "v" beacon on 6928, way down in the noise. The v's are sent with about a one second break between each letter, the l's are sent without pause (with the irregularities as noted).

At 2156z, I can just barely hear L on 6917.5. No sign of V.

I too have been hearing an "L" beacon at times from here in the CO Front Range - also shows up on some of the Global Tuner receivers. Been hearing it in the mornings and evenings when I do hear it on 6668 KHz. Not sure of this is the same one or not - I don't hear any "errors and breaks" as described before, just a letter "L" every 9 seconds or so.
A previous comment said there was no pause - this has a definite 9 second gap, which makes me think this is something different.
