This is really nice looking. Did you do the PCB design? Any plans to sell a kit or at least the boards? How well does it work?

I had the idea of turning into a PCB due to time and effort it took to make them on copper clad board.

The design was done by someone else. The only issue I'm finding with this "Corsair" design using the IRF530 is it get quite warm but produces upto 20-30watts. Also one of the diodes is hard to find. I'll have started to amend the board for the experimental gate version which I have built loads of of copper clad board and an easier, cheaper to make version. It sounds nice with limiter.

Once done I'll get PCB's made up for who want to give this ago but is just wondering what the demand is like now days????

Could you post the gerbers, or a PDF for folks that want to 'roll their own'?

Yep, several.

They work OK but the audio is very distinctive

I collaberated with intruder on the initial PCB, but we diverged a little as we both tried to improve the PCB.  I call mine the Corsair-X as its the 10th version of my board!

Nice to see your carrying on with improvements Europirate  8)

I was quite happy with the overall project and the small contribution I hopefully put towards the Corsair. No longer build stuff and the last one went off to someone and they were pleased but that was some time ago now!

Cheap and chearful - MF / 75mb / 60mb / 48mb / 41mb / 31mb ... 15w on MF, dropping to about 8w on 31mb
