While I was parked on 890 kHz early Sunday morning around 0755 UTC (Aug. 29), I heard blues music rising up at times behind KDXU and on top of KXDU for several minutes by 0807 UTC (CJDC was nulled nicely). I matched the audio on my radio coming from Homer, Alaska's KBBI by tuning in via an Anchorage SDR. It was the "Blues Before Sunrise" program, which plays on that station at that time, and I can't find any other station that plays that public radio program on that frequency.
KBBI runs 10 kW; distance from me is distance is 1,425 miles. Haven't snagged an Alaskan station before this, despite being located near Seattle!

Well, now that I know what I'm listening for, I heard KBBI again last night (Sept. 2) at 0611 UTC with lively contemporary jazz music rising up under KDXU. That matched the audio from the Anchorage SDR and the station's own livestream during the "Drifters Escape" program.
The band seemed pretty good overall for a late summer night.
