No ID yet, but sounds like familiar music as I just tuned in. S8-S9 with some rapid fading, strong audio - until 0320 UTC - open carrier now.
Signal took a big dive during the laptop reboot at 0336 UTC, no longer audible.

Is *that* who this is? Aha! SIO 222 into Madison when I tuned in at 0300 or a minute or two after, improving to 333 with time. Signal improved noticeably at around 0305, though I didn't recognize the music and couldn't make out either of the presumed ID's I heard. Definitely in OM voice, one around 0305, the other 0317 or so. That second was clearest, but still no copy. Darn. Propogation's brutal all around tonight, oof.
I wondered why the signal took such a nosedive at 0320 or thereabouts, now I know. Oops, no audio!
Edited to add: Switched back on at 0435 or so, started poking around USB for a laugh, thought I heard a voice, put the headset on and aha! That's Dr. Benway telling a story, then a clear Undercover Radio from the middle of nowhere ID and name reference at 0437, give or take a minute.
Yes, some of us are still out here and listening. SIO now 444, signal much improved from earlier.

Caught Dr. Benway doing some testing earlier and started his show in AM, but had some technical problems and switched to USB for the rest of the show. Mentioned his laptop software was giving him trouble and as a result did the show live off the cuff which was very cool!

Noted here on the SDR from 0256z. Quite a bit of static, but the audio made it through from time to time.
Very interesting to hear Dr Benway talking about his experiences in pirate broadcasting, and how it used to be back in the day.
