Title: Military EAM?
Post by: Matt_B on October 13, 2021, 1942 UTC
Just heard what seems to be an EAM on 4.726 khz into Omaha (actually about 30 minutes ago).  I don't have a recording available, but here's what I think I heard:

"LVXJ  4EL  EHN82  S8415L3  S7VED  THIS IS ED_468"

Any idea what this could mean, or who they might've been talking to/from?

Matt, are you sure this was not on 4724.0 kHz USB. This is the USAF High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS). The network carries a variaty of messages and HF radio traffic.

Info is here:

It probably was on that frequency.
