Interesting. Wish I could have heard that. I got to a radio around 2100Z and I was hearing the "usual" L that we have been hearing on that freq lately.
Wonder if it was a malfunction of sorts, or some other beacon...

WI is being sent....

I just pulled this up on the Global Tuners (Majave Desert receiver) and heard a pretty distinct "L" despite a weak signal.
In the past when sigs were good, I heard a key-up error or some anamoly, like a half-dit before the first real "dit". I don't tend to hear it when the sig is weak. Of course, maybe it's just my ears or imagination.
Time 1600Z. 6668 KHz.

At 1946 Utc the Letter L is clearly being sent.

I am hearing very occasional glitches on the first dit, but much of the time it is clean, as an "L".

I'm copying "L" quite clearly now (0000Z, Nov. 13). It is about S7 or S8 on 6668.0 kHz. Nice signal.

Hearing L with some noise @ 1545Z - 6668 KHz. Weak - Moderate strength at times, ionosphere must still be warming up (!). I too hear the little burp before the first dit at times... Gives it some personality!
