1957 Faint music, sounds 1940's-ish
2001 Similar music continues, reception a little better still not good enough to ID
2008 OM talking but can't decipher
2014 OM talking right a noise floor
2018 OM clearly talking about work/school/classes, getting other employment
2020 OM asking high pitched YL to turn down machine, she starts singing "I work hard for my money", OM gives ID
2023 "Working in a Coal Mine" - Lee Dorsey, reception now good
2024 WORK Workers Operated Radio Knobs, Wellsville (?), NY mail drop
2044 Mail drop addy again, then off

S6 or so, some fades - signal seems to be about 8-10 kHz wide

No problem -- unfortunately the ID is about the only thing I've heard clearly so far, but the signal seems to be getting better here.
CT Yankee -- this is the third vintage relay we've heard on this freq in as many days! All at about the same time, with a similar signal strength. Anybody want to claim them?
THANKS for these relays. It's the only way we'll ever hear classic programs on the air!
