2352Z 35433 S7 Dead carrier
0000Z 35432 S8 Bachman Turner Overdrive "Hey You"
0000Z 35432 S8 Carrier strong but modulation low. In comparing VoG at 9420 whose carrier is weaker than KBC's, the audio there is much better.

Could see carrier, but little audio after this. Got tied up with some other stuff shortly after this, so didn't hear the rest of the show. Was making a recording, but the SDR had issues and didn't even record the whole show.

Hearing them here too, call it SIO 434.  Their modulation is a bit low, but still perfectly listenable.  They seem to be improving a bit as the band opens up.

I emailed that I was hearing them, and stuck in a song request.  Not admitting my actual name, but I'll probably squee if I get a mention. :)

Is it just me who thinks that DJ has a lovely voice?  ... *coughs*  Sorry.

Edited to add: It is not me dancing on the table, as quoted by the DJ.  That was somebody else's e-mail.  Just had to make that plain.  XD

Oh darnit, now their signal really is dropping off.  :(

Ooh, signal up slightly, or maybe it's just better with headphones.  I don't like that 'hot rod Lincoln' song; it's scared me since I was a kid.  Ha!  The DJ says he loves American cars, and had or has two Lincolns himself, I think?  I hope he doesn't drive like the character in the song!  I can't picture him driving like that, honestly.

0147 Yes, modulation is coming up again.  :)  Signal much improved toward the end of the broadcast.  Shoutouts to a handful of listeners - two in Mexico, one in California, one in Ontario, one in New Zealand and one in the UK - and a second digital transmission just before sign-off.  Digital modes set my teeth on edge.  Anyway.  Off at 0200.

There was information given about the transmissions over the holidays, around the time of the first digital broadcast, but modulation was still low at that point.  I know I've seen the details written out, and I'm sure it'll get mentioned next week.  It's probably on the website too.

Danke, KBC!
