I am almost pretty sure that EZNEC has been free for some time now but EZNEC PRO requires licensing.

I could not find a download link for EZNEC on their website. Only EZNEC Pro/2 v. 6.0 appears to be available for download.

I may have been wrong on this one. I checked my archive and the previously available version of EZNEC was EZWDemo60Inst.exe. The version currently being offered on the web site is EZNEC_Pro2_v6_setup.exe.

I have been using GAL-ANA and MMANA-GAL and definitely will be trying EZNEC. I wanted to try this one in the past but only the demo version was previously available.

Indeed, great news.

Testing is a little bit of a kludge right now. I virtualized the application using VMware ThinApp on a 32-bit version of Windows 7 but this then failed to run on a 64-bit system. I opted for virtualization because the program installs a version of Visual C++ Redistributable (if missing) and some Microsoft components (DLL, OCX) in the Windows folder. A virtualized (portable) version is handy to move around between computers without having to install anything or to run it from a USB stick

Further testing will require a different approach otherwise, it seems to work.
