Perfectly copyable though not very strong here in CO as of 0325 UTC on 16 JAN 2022. Good whoops, and if I knew CW I'm sure I could convey that info.

Good catch! My CW abilities are very poor so when I really want to know I record an MP3 which I then slow down while I stumble through a Morse code tree, counting dits and dahs

Thanks for that. I think I printed up a file like that a few years ago. I do plan to learn Morse at some point. I should just dig in and do it.

May I humbly (not quite) submit that ALL DXers really should try to learn INTERNATIONAL RADIO-TELEGRAPHY CODE (not "Morse") so one will not have to rely on a computer to "decode" simple CW transmissions like DW/etc. folks! Any ham radio op. licensed before they dumbed down the ticket requirements needed to learn it... rather than resort to some computer-critch mode LEARN the silly code it is not hard! Anyone who DXes NDBs shou7ld learn it also - god, I learned "code" as a kid age 10... c'mon folks - try it! MB

If I don’t practice I forget pretty fast!
Learned Code as a teen and didn’t use it
Learned French. Forgot it. And forgot Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese etc. Some of it comes back in fragments when under pressure.
Anyhow, I believe as people get more into this facet of the hobby they’ll pick up enough code to get by.

I've tried and as I've said I intend to learn more. Sorry to offend you. I'll probably keep calling it Morse or CW as long as everyone knows exactly what those terms mean. And perhaps may I not so humbly suggest that you ask if anyone had tried to learn it before ASSuming that they haven't, as well as paying closer attention to what folks say about their experience and intentions.
