This from a Bulgarian DX blog. The Voice of Greece did shutter about 9 years ago for a period of time.

Very disappointing if this ends up happening. One of my favorites.
-
My thoughts exactly, plus where will I get my Greek National Football fix? To my knowledge, they are the lone live National broadcaster of the Euro Song competition.

I sent them this:
Good afternoon. It was with great sadness that I saw that the VOICE OF GREECE is discontinuing their Shortwave broadcasts tentatively scheduled for March 31st, 2022. Please reconsider your decision and continue your broadcasts. I have listened regularly to your broadcasts to North America for many years on 9420f KHZ. You have many listeners here in the U.S.A. and I can confidently state that more Shortwave listeners tune in to the VOICE OF GREECE than do not. Your 170 KW signal is easily heard in the Western Hemisphere and many would be disappointed if you ceased your Shortwave operation.
Again, please reconsider.
Thank you.

I also sent them an email and everyone here who cares need to do so as well. It's definitely better than just letting it happen.

We also sent a email to them.
Thanks

IIRC, during the last station shutdown, the Voice of Greece has done at least one period of broadcasts even without an active government license. YMMV.

I noticed that I couldn't find even a carrier yesterday (Saturday the 19th). That's not a good sign.
-
I didn't see a carrier yesterday (Monday the 21st) either, but thankfully VOG is there today. (2148 UTC, only a carrier here in Denver but a solid signal on W3HFU kiwi SDR).
-
Strong unmodulated carrier on 9420 at 0006z 23 Feb 2022. :-\

Feb 24, 2022 @ 0019Z: YL talking with some incidental music. Not overly strong, but sounds like its just conditions as its a bit fluttery.

Friday 2/25/22: terrific signal at 2326 UTC with Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone"
-
VOG still alive and kickin' 9420 khz @ 00:18 Lima Charlie @ 4-4-4-3-4
Male vocals: " La Luce Dell-est "

2058z nice signal at S9. Music
0433z on Mar 2, still there with music at S9
2052z Mar 2, S9 signal with music
-
Very solid signal still copyable in Denver as of 0455 UTC, 04 MAR 2022. I haven't heard it this well this late (it's 9:55pm locally) in a long time, probably last summer sometime.
0610 Still very good relative to the time, SIO 333. The listings report that the azimuth is supposed to be back for Europe but I didn't hear any kind of change (you'd expect it to sign off for a moment if it was changing beam).
