Post by: DimBulb on December 24, 2012, 1948 UTC
Pirate Radio Boston doing fairly well in NH this afternoon, peaking S7 and QSB gets it dipping down into the noise now and then.

1945z Country Christmas tune
1947z Pirate Radio Boston ID, pirateradioboston@gmail.com - thanking folks for support during 2012
1948z More Christmas music

2020z Signal level has been slowly dropping, only peaking S5 now and taking long dives into the noise
2027z ID from Charlie Loudenboomer
2032z Off...

A bit of history, Charlie's namesake was the Hallicrafters HT-45, quite a chunk of iron from back in the 60's. I remember it from old QST ads and found a couple of nice pix after doing a bit of searching around the web:

At 19:56+ hearing PRB here just above the noise floor. Moderate fade with signal readable on fade ups.

Merry Christmas !
