on 1602.0 via Weston SDR
1400 just a mess of extra weak audio
On previous tries (around dusk), just got Desi Radio, a LP community radio near London
(Desi Radio : 0.16 kW in Southall, greater London, 10 miles west of the City)

Desi Radio usually stands out from the mix on the east coast of Ireland. Spain is there in the mix as well. Sovereign probably turns down the power to avoid interfering with Desi. When they use 1494 kHz, I think the nearest broadcaster is in Moldova. And they are a lot stronger on the out of band SW frequencies. Not heard on any SDR in Ireland on 1602, but still 60 over with me, since they are so local.
1745 Silver Lady. David Soul.
1749 Instrumental version of Je t'aime moi non plus.

I don't know why they are using 1602, unless they just want to provide a local service for Dundalk.
Yes DX Hound, 1494 is a much better frequency and I believe Moldova signs off at 2000 UTC, although a few pirates both in Ireland and the UK use 1494.
I've heard Laser, Rock Revolution & a UK station Buzz FM on 1494 in the past

Radio Sovereign says hopefully over the weekend they will back to 1494 kHz
