Title: Radio New Zealand 9700 AM 0949 utc 23 Apr 2022
Post by: Ct Yankee on April 23, 2022, 0954 UTC
English service, fair reception.  Most noteworthy as RNZ website https://www.rnz.co.nz/international/listen and other station web site identifiers do not list Saturday in the 0900 utc hour as a time that they broadcast, other days at 0900 but not Saturdays.  Actually not scheduled to start on 9700 until 1059 utc.

0949 Music but not clear enough to ID
0951 OM Host of request program talking but choppy
0958 "Happy Hour" The House Martins to time pips and news, noise dying down

That's just a mistake on their part. It says 07:59-10:58 Mon-Fri, and it should read "daily" (you'll note that it otherwise would imply that they're QRT for that time period on the weekend). I've been tuned in every Saturday since a22 began and it's been on 9700 for that time (and on through 12:58 - another mistake on the list is saying 13:58, but showing that they begin at 5980 kHz at 12:59). If other lists are showing all this, it's because they're copying straight from RNZI's listing.
