Title: Beacons 1015 UTC
Post by: cmradio on April 09, 2009, 1036 UTC
TMP 4079 (tuned 4078 due to RTTY QRM) coming in.

Temp was 3... something (or something... 3?).

Took 10 minutes of listening to confirm through lightning crashes.

Dash and 2-second dash on 4096, as well as one of lotsa dits, but buried in the noise.

Testing a new balanced, tabletop loop I made tonight specifically to catch these guys while nulling a neighborhood full of CFL bulb noisemakers, plugged into my E5.

Peace!

In most cases dxing weak signals seems to be based on how well
we can reduce the noise factors.

Plasma Tvs seems to be large RF generators....
Send me a picture of the loop....
