This may be an ongoing 80 meter circus, so I don't want to post it in the Pirates forum. But the, um, programming sounds a little bit like a legitimate pirate, if that's not too much of an oxymoron. I don't see another topic or thread that this fits in, so will toss out here and see what the mods think.

To be serious, there are always 2 or 3 guys like this on 80 meters with different agendas and converted broadcast transmitters. They come and go. Occasionally one will go off the deep end, but it doesn't happen very often.

Yeah, I've heard some weird stuff on 80/75 over the years, but usually just verbal rants and abuse. This guy had a certain style, playing snippets of songs and sound effects. And THEN going into rants and abuse. But very puerile and sophomoric compared to class acts like Ball Smacker.

None of the hams who behave badly (and they're all licensed hams) have any class whatsoever. Just entitled children in the bodies of middle aged to elderly men.

Sounds like he's got a grudge against either one or more of the hams that hang out on that frequency? Maybe he used to be one of them and they ignore him now? Or perhaps he's just nuts?
I mentioned the late Jimmy the Weasel up the page. Jimmy was given ham radio equipment in the institution he was in as therapy. Jimmy would show up wherever it would transmit, raising Hell and singing his signature song,"I'm Gonna Pee on The FCC." He practically lived on 40 meters. The FCC couldn't do much about him, he wasn't considered competent for his actions.
