Solid copy here (S9+10 to S9+20). Audio sounds a bit compressed, but maybe I'm getting spoiled by the regular pirates with their 5 kHz bandwidth USB and hi-fi AM signals.
-
Update - The signal's coming in better now, and I widened out my filter to 3 kHz and the audio quality is MUCH better.
-
Try 8 Miles High - The Byrds

Reception varied between poor and good on the R-600; a good show all around. Hope to catch you next time.

"Kashmir" brings back some good pirating memories.
I'd just torn down and packed up when a new Firebird pulled in to a state forest parking lot about a 1/4 mile from my tx site. It looked like something a kid that just turned 16 would've got from his folks. A guy and girl get out and start making out. He gets back in the car and throws on some Zepplin and she gets back in. I can tell by the song order, it's this kid's "gettin' some" mix cd. "Kashmir" comes on and that bass starts thumpin',minute or so later the car starts bouncing. I started the truck, started heading towards them, lights out. At about 100 yards I stomp on the gas and as I closed I hit the high beams. I was throwing dirt and gravel as passed them. All I saw were two bug-eyed teens and a tangle of arms and legs. I bet that guy is still cussing me.
