First time I noticed that entry on the HFU wiki! Although it mentions the station having been heard since October of 2020, it was heard earlier than that on several occasions, mostly the AM band, but also on 43 meters. Here's the first posting I can find of this mystery station dating to October of 2019! Also, in the earlier postings there were a handful of songs played not on the regular playlist, including "Home" by Daughtry and My Sharona by the Knack. Initially the ID was Radio New York 1710.

Thanks for the information! I actually created that page on 29 June 2022. I will update the page with your information. I thought it was first heard in October 2020 because I searched the HFU for “Good Times Radio” and set the search to oldest topics first and the oldest logging I found was from October 2020.

Who did this originally? I knew a guy who would start cussing and ranting when the Blue Swede cover came on the radio, yelling about how they ruined a great song. I loathed the original, it was so syrupy, but liked the way Blue Swede's version gave it a swift kick in the ass.

According to a google search it was written by Mark James and originally performed by B.J. Thomas.
