Title: CHU Spur 6820 kHz 1910 UTC 24 Feb 2013
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on February 24, 2013, 1929 UTC
I have what sounds like a spur of CHU on 6820 kHz. I hear it on two radios, so I do not believe it is generated inside my receivers (and I have not noticed it before).

The Radical had one of those on his old Radio Shack portable on a similar frequency, though I think it was more towards 6.9 somewheres... I blamed the radio at the time.

I don't seem to be hearing any of that here.

I just realized, 14670-7850=6820.  So it's a mixing product. Just like WWCR: 13845-6875=6970.
