9105 AM - antenna facing West
Fair signal with low noise conditions - I don't know korean & didn't hear any english (that I could discern at least), but recorded the two IS's at 0900z and 1000z. The 1st recording has Simon & Garfunkel's 'Sound Of Silence' (flute version?) before the fog horn sounding IS.

KOREA SOUTH. Echo of Hope -VOH, after two consecutive weeks on the same frequencies, VOH has finally
again made a Monday change (Sept 12):
3985 // 4890 // 5995 // 6255 // 6350.0 // 9105, at 1147 UT; the EBS TV audio feed for "Wang cho bo yeong-eo,"
which is always aired only on weekdays; intro and exit theme song is with the very distinctive "Party Will
Come Alive," by the Wizardz Of Oz/Ruben Martinez - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOnHJJUOuDI ; the
usual intro has announcer saying "English trainer" and giving his name ("Mayu"), then the woman announcer
says her name ("Mini"); 9105, as usual, with excellent reception.
My brief audio is posted at https://app.box.com/s/yp5nay7lswpuqynwm9ilf6u32pwhg1j8 .
VOH during weekends has a different program during the same time period (about 1125 to 1150 UT), with the
reading of the "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" story in English, with lengthy explanations in Korean.
VOH is on a four hour program loop, so all the programs are repeated every four hours.
This may also be of interest, as it is mostly in English:
VOH has announcer Choi Soo-jin's program "Morning Special," with news headlines in English and explaining
words in Korean ( https://home.ebs.co.kr/morning/etc/164/htmlMenu ), starting about 1240+ UT. The news is
actually old news (a week old or so!) and is more of a language lesson than a news program.
Also of note is this Korean clandestine, but with no English:
Voice of Freedom, 6045, at 1158 UT, Sept 12; closing ID for the "Aneun geos-i him-ida" (Knowledge is power)
program; 1200, the usual single tone; then "Jayu-e solibangsong-eseo bam 9 (ahob) sileul allyeodeulibnida."
(In English - Voice of Freedom has announced 9pm); nice singing station jingle - "jinsil-e soli, huimang-e soli,
jayu-e soli bangsong!" (Voice of Truth, Voice of Hope, Voice of Freedom broadcast); then the "Bodo gwangjang"
(News Plaza) segment; this day the N. Korean jamming here was lighter than normal, so better VOF reception.

Wow; thanks for the detailed info Ron! Do you have a recording of the Interval Signal I was hearing that sounds like a fog horn?

Aug 29 (Monday) observations:
Echo of Hope - VOH:
Heard the new format of foghorn at the ToH - https://app.box.com/s/vvjgl2xguq7zd0wnzrh5ai5h3it9jquc .
Noted foghorn at 1300 UT and into the news in Korean (item about "Australia, Queensland," etc.); also again at 1401 and
again at 1500, followed by the "Oneul-ui sosig" (Today's News) program. VOH heard on the 29th, on the following:
3980 // 4885 // 5990 // 6250 // 6348 (VOH's only off frequency!) // 9100 kHz.; good from Aug 29 to Sept 4.
On Monday, VOH normally does a slight change in frequencies!
