I just worked Samoa on 10M (Local time 9:20 PM). Station 5W1SA (CW 28.015) 6.713 Miles distance. Spent most of my day on 12M though and managed to work VK3CWB (9.874 miles), along with Madeira Island (Portugal) and several others. Not bad for 100 watts and a wire!

About to go to bed and decided to check out 27.385. Still going pretty strong from the west coast. Lots's of guys talking about hearing Australian/European stations today. (10:05 PM Local time)

Voice or CW?

As for 11 meters it looks like it's to warm up those linear's, and make sure your power mic with roger beep and echo is functioning. "Hey Vladamir, yew got yer ears on?"

Samoa on 10M was CW, along with Australia, Madeira Island (CT3MD), Columbia (HK1MW) and French Guiana (FY5KE) on 12M today. SSB contacts today on 12M included Canada (BC), ID, UT, CA, AZ, and Barbados (8P6NW). Hoping the band is in good shape tomorrow. I'll post anything new.
