0245Z 25542 S3 SYZ. Shelbyville, IL (at airport 2H0)
This is very sad, as usually KENIE (AA) from Fargo comes in regularly and strongly, but haven't heard it for a little while. No NOTAMs for an outage or decommissioning, so unsure what why I can't receive it here.
On the other hand, glad to get a new beacon here.

IIRC have only logged SYZ one time as it is usually covered by AA and TV (Traverse City MI).
Regarding AA, as you say, no NOTAM and nothing recently in the NFDD.
Have not heard it here recently but band conditions have been poor.
Will be looking for it.

Been hearing 363 RNB Millville NJ steady every morning and 365 TV Traverse City in and out most mornings but 365 AA is nowhere to be heard.
-
I've been listening for KENIE for a few weeks now and still not a peep from it, even listening on CW to 364 & 366. During the day, not even a weak carrier on 365.

Hearing SYZ Shelbyville IL and JN Muncie IN, both on 365, in here to MI this morning @1007Z... no AA.
AA was last logged in late October according to several sources. My guess is that AA is currently
not on the air for whatever reason.

Yeah, I've been searching frequently for AA on different radios & antennas. Either its QRT or its on low power and now out of range (a little over 200 miles). Not even a hint of carrier on 365 last night. Still no NOTAMs on its status (but plenty of other NOTAMs for KFAR). HISER (345 GF) at KGFK once in a very great while comes down here, but its rare, but expected so as its low power. So I have hope that KENIE is on low power, at least until a NOTAM is published stating otherwise.
Already have lost NARCO (266 MS), VAGEY (338 AP), BABCO (385 BA) and HOPEY (400 PPI) around KMSP/KSTP over the years (with HOPEY being the last one a year or two ago). NARCO was my favorite as it had a transcribed weather broadcast (TWEB).

KENIE has returned. Heard it on Christmas Day and was sounding as great as ever. Don't know exactly when it returned, but sometime in the past week or two.
Kept on the lookout for NOTAMs for it, but never saw any.

Heard 365 AA 1030Z this morning, in and out and faint but in there mixing with TV.
