Title: Line level input
Post by: herman on May 04, 2013, 1825 UTC
I have a HT-40 transmitter on the way, and am wondering if there are any better ways of inputting a line-level thru the Mic input than what I am using on my ft 101 b.  http://www.frn.net/tech/interface.gif .
Please remember I am no audio eng. just simple folk.

What are you feeding audio from?  I've connected HT-40s in the past directly from a CD player and controlled the levels pretty well on the audio controls on the CD player. The HT-40's mike input was designed for crystal type microphones of the day.  ;)

I have a CD player into a Radio Shack mixing board that I use to covert stereo to mono, I've never tried direct input.

That should work fine!
