Noted a signal on 6950 KHz AM at 0027 with an alternative pop sorta tune. Peaks to S7. XFM ID at 0031 UTC.

0030 X-FM show roll-out
0041 T/C, "broadcasting somewhere under the stars" and the Old Professor is on-board
0155 Up to 0140, reception had been only fair, with lotsa deep fading. Last 15 minutes here have
seen virtually flatline S9 reception*.
0217 Parliament - Flash Light is sounding excellent here
0235 Golden Earring - R Love, When the Bullet Hits the Phone
0248 seems like another AM is now on 6950.7; nix that, it's off at 0250; now hearing Big Log
0323 CSNY - Wooden Ships - probably gonna be the last tune to make it into Chicago tonight.
S9 here average.
Good to hear you again tonight. Last night's activity was appreciated, but it came at a very hectic pace; great show to chill by tonight. Thanks redhat and old prof!

S9 here too at 0030z with music and timed computer ID voice. 45444.
0123z - S8, more frequent shallow fades. Seether - Fine Again; Smashmouth - Walkin' On the Sun.
0259z - had to leave for a while, but still S9 with Talking Heads; Wall of Voodoo - Mexican Radio
0326z - Signal dropping off. Just above the noise floor.
0354z - ....and back up to S7-S8.

0123z band is not being so kind now, a little more QRN kicking up and average sig strength S8 but still a good copy!
0127z back to S9+5 dB!
0141z 2nd wind kicking in! Sig strength S9 up to S9+5 dB at times!
0151z Blasting in with peaks at S9+10 dB and constant at +5 dB now! Linda Ronstadt and "He's a magic man"
0213z bass notes CLEARLY come thru better on AM ... X-FM shows this time and time again .... S9 to S9+5 dB mon ami
0237z "Radar Love" never sounded so good! S9+5 dB ... Great sig X-FM!
0245z "When the Bullet hits the Bone" S9 +5 ... still GOOD copy!
0248z An annoying carrier came up about 500 Hz or so above the X-FM carrier (above in frequency, that is) ... now sounds like another station in there w/audio? Now it seems to be gone by 0251z ... Note: X-FM carrier is about 30 Hz high in frequency so this is a good way to verify who is who!
0303z "I'm on Mexican Radio" sig in the S9 to S9+5 dB
0315z And off? (stepped away and did not hear sign-off! Oops ... my bad)
0336z Thank goodness for bandscopes or would have missed this: X-FM rolling back in here after a significant band fade for a bit!
0344z S9 sig level ATTM but fades are becoming longer and more pronounced ...
0349z Genesis and showing S9+5 dB ...
0402z "Urgent" at just over S9 sig level ...
0424z ... into some electronic 'genre' music now ... this should be interesting on SW! Op also mentioned he's beginning to put the 'brakes' on the show now ...

0440z S9+5 dB and steady signal on final song ...

awesome signal with great audio. looks like a "real" station on sdr waterfall with lovely fat carrier & nice wide audio. Thanks for the show XFM.
BTW, signal is S9+10 in KCMO.

Have the station at 0120z at about S8-S9. Talked about having a remote receiver and how the signal sounded good tonight.

I'm hearing Parliament and Steve Miller, but I don't have a very good copy here. They're barely bouncing the signal meter on the receiver tonight. SIO 121
