Nice reception! Its good considering its far away.
I mean I can tell what song it is (but I don't know its name).
And to think of how many hours I spent reading about better antennas today. This random wire isn't bad.

Woo hoo, mentions of Joe Farley and me as well as other interesting pertinent info... Like how random wires are regarded by some as magical and akin to things such as reading tea leaves. Lovin' it.
I hear ya, my 4 year old was wondering why I was so excited :) Its hard to explain to a kid.

Thanks for the show, you slowly faded out. Hoping for a fade in.

S4 when I first tuned in to an ID at 0412z. Improving a little bit to S6 with Gordon Lightfoot's "Edmund Fitzgerald".
0422z - Thanks for the shout.
0426z - Iron Maiden S7
0440z - Clapton - "Wonderful Tonight" S8
Who was the last song dedicated to? You faded some and it wasn't clear.
Props didn't start great, but the noise wasn't too bad. Like Joe sez "We hear ya".
Thanks for the show.

Sounds good into Indiana w/ S-4 to S-8 sigs, no QRN, just some local powerline noise. Recording it in mp3 now.

SDR recording catch. 0326 sign on with a nice S8 signal. Last song heard here was "Wonderful Tonight"

I heard RML as I walked the hound, but I had my Tecsun PL380 as the radio du jour & was unable to do the whole SSB thing. The signal was coming in strong though as I didn't have the antenna extended at the time I did a scan of the pirate band at about 4:30z.
