WHYP, 2-8-14, 2205-2213*, 6.925 AM, bouncing in and out of the static here at S1 to S3. hearing music then announcer with ID at 2208, then "sweetheart" by frankie & the knockouts. off at 2213.

WHYP is S9 on peaks with some fading. 43433. Great audio quality as usual.

Good signal in Wyomissing: 45444.
Switched transmitters between 2213 and 2215. Started with rebuilt DX-40.
Nice to hear a BC before dinner.

Good signal in to NH, S7 and had come up to S8 at the TX switch, not much difference with the new TX and had come up to S9+ at signoff time.

2213 UTC Man announcer..."goes back to 1980...Frankie & the Knockouts...this is WHYP...latest endeavor...25 watts (talk about xmtr)...this will be our back up transmitter...This is WHYP...see you in a few minutes". Off abrupt at 2214

2217 UTC A jazzy sounding uptempo swing tune ending then man announcer talking about the transmitters..."I like to @#$% around"...ID...into "Tell Me Something Good"-Rufus.
2225 UTC sounded like a recording of the CBC-740 live announcement of the closing down of their AM and instructions to tune to their 99.1 FM broadcast (This is CBC Radio 1...99.1 in Toronto
