The Buzzer hrd w/a strong signal via University of Twente; appreared to be using R3E modulation; SIO 454-555.

If you zoom in you can see it is running as normal with reduced lower side band.

Yes sir, you are right.  I could also hear it a little in LSB?  Is this R3E?

I think that"s right. I've always called it "compatible sideband". The two are the same thing though.

R3E is reduced/controlled carrier SSB
H3E is full carrier SSB

It has been known to use both R3E & H3E:

From looking at it now (1843Z 16 Mar 2014), I can see a little LSB, but not as wide as USB, so perhaps some artifact of it not being good at LSB suppression?

I can only hear this from the University of Twente xcvr; I may be too far away to hear it from Idaho on that frequency.  Can any members from the east coast hear it?
