Title: Antenna diversity
Post by: Antennae on April 19, 2014, 0255 UTC
To me fading is one of the biggest spoilers of radio shows.  There are multiple ways to avoid fading says wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antenna_diversity

spatial diversity
pattern diversity
polarization diversity
transmit/receive diversity
adaptive arrays

THIS guy has a bad ass setup with 5 computers hooked up to receivers in his shack. They can be controlled by one computer. And he has a pic of 2 SSTVs of a clown from the same transmission but different antennas: a vertically polarized antenna and a horizontally polarized antenna. One is way better than the other.

Has anybody transmitted with antenna diversity?

Has anybody knowingly received a station transmitting with diversity?
