What radio related software (either desktop programs or smartphone apps) would you like to see?
Feel fee to reply here, or shoot me a private message.

How about a linux port of the WinRadio software :)
+-RH

Amen to that. I would have bought into a WinRadio years ago if they weren't...ahem..."win".
How about direct sdr control and qrss in multimode?
-
MultiMode does have a waterfall for QRSS now - let me know if there's any improvements to it you'd like to see.
Regarding SDR control, I could certainly look into adding features to control SdrDx directly from within MultiMode. SdrDx works with several SDR models, and does allow for remote control via a TCP connection.

Sdr app for ipad?

Sdr app for ipad?
I've actually written an iPad app that works as a remote control for SdrDx. It displays a waterfall and play audio, and lets you change the frequency, mode etc. I use it when doing antenna work, I take it with me and connect over WiFi, so I can see the results of adjusting the antenna in real time. It's not entirely stable at this point, and I don't know what the market would be for it, so I haven't released it yet. But if there's interest I could look into it again.
Doing an actual entire SDR in the iPad does not sound feasible, as I don't really know a way to get I/Q data into it except over WiFi (you won't be able to use an RTL dongle via USB like on Android), so I'm not sure of the utility over just using a computer?

Instead of having the whole SDR program on the iPad, could you have the main SDR program running on a computer and the iPad/iPhone connect to it for control, display, and the audio stream? The program on the computer could have a full interface with the iPad/iPhone as supplemental controls. Could also have a mode with no interface so it runs in the background doing the processing with full control from the remote device. Could even have a program for another computer for people that want to remote control & stream from elsewhere.

fldigi ported to android... Heard it's not possible due to the graphics library that it uses though...:(
Winlink 2k would be neat too.

An SDR remote for iPad would be very useful:
-For finding interfering devices
-For adjusting the antenna
-For doing experiments (I'm imagining a wire on a jackite pole and moving it around like one ear of a big bunny ear antenna).
It wouldn't require hi fidelity, just something to see instant feedback. One could adjust a random wire without going all the way back into the shack.

This isn't well thought out but....could some way to illustrate propagation be added to the shortwave schedule app?

I do have an iPhone/iPad app that calculates propagation, as well as showing some related information (solar flares, etc): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dx-toolbox/id492113368?mt=8

Following onto what rwfisheriv said, an app that you enter the frequency, it would plot (with (near) real-time data) the ground, NVIS, skip, DX, other(?) zones?
Primarily for HF, but would be interesting if it could get down to MW.
