Not a solid decode on FLDIGI, but most likely DDP, Puerto Rico(?)

Only station I hear now (0224Z) is AGZ in Wagner, SD (KAGZ)

DDP is listed at 2kW, and is often heard here in Chicago.  With an all water path to your QTH, this is most likely what you heard.
