Folks,
I found an old Kenwood R-5000 receiver at a recent hamfest....it desperately needed some love! So I bought it and brought it home. I've begun cleaning up and restoring it. If interested, you can follow the series of YouTube videos I'm making on this little project. So far, I have done three videos, with more to come:

This time we are changing out the old supplied 6 kHz filter for a much better 4 kHz version, resulting in better selectivity and improved audio quality.
