Title: Radio Zed 6925 USB 0400 UTC 9/24/2016
Post by: Token on September 24, 2016, 0413 UTC
So far UNIDed station 6925 USB, 0400 UTC, 24 September, 2016.  Sounded like history talk, maybe WW II stuff, not sure, then into the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" at 0409 UTC.  Sounds off at 0412 UTC, no ID heard.

Signal was weak but copiable here.

T!

That was Radio Zed.  It's odd you got copy as I was using my mag loop antenna for the first time in many months and thought I had a proper east/west orientation for the radiation pattern.  Obviously it's not what I thought it was.  I need to play around with positioning some more.

I had given up on pirates by that time, otherwise I would have been glad to try to tune in. @radiozed, maybe you ought to post broadcast announcements as long as you're experimenting.

SDR recording catch.
Heard possibly as early as 0350, certainly by 0354 with music, although extremely weak.
A bit of a peak around 0409 with what sounded like a WWII news report? Then into music.
Off around 0412?
