Ok, those wacky cubans are at it again..cw, decent enough signal into NE Ohio, with a bit of fading..will post up a video of the audio on youtube shortly. Been consistently transmitting the last two hours, starting at a couple minutes before the hour. I'll apologize in advance for the quality of the video..I'm not much with a camera.

TNX for the QTH Try: regular AM; as it most likely is a Tone Modulated AM
Signal. Need to find a computer that will let me download your recordings.
Cheers.

I've picked them up the last few nights. In fact, I'm listening right now. 5810KHz AM, started at 05:00z. I'm listening from Toronto. I've also heard them on 5898KHz Am and 9150 AM. I've also gotten V2 'Atention' on 5898 and 5810. Great signals too.

Somebody posted this article in another group... if you have not heard of this, thought you might be interested.
CBS News Blog June 28 2010 Article: "FBI: 10 Russian Spies Arrested"
I have yet to read the full article; but mentions that these people were trained in the use of Shortwave Radio and Morse Code Encryption
techniques. I have wondered why there seems to be so much M8a activity around the Country; could this help explain it ? Food for
thought- or so it seems to me. Cheers.

Been looking into this a little (in so far as possible); much less inclined to entertain the notion of Russian/Cuban cooperation in this sort of operation. FBI Claim 2 makes mention of this curious shortwave "Burst Mode". I suppose it could be some sort of Spread Sprectrum
Signal, as I am unaware of any Audio Samples of it on the Internet.
FBI Claim 1 outlined the use of Laptops and Wireless Hot Spots.
I just hope it does not take that long for photos of some of this physical evidence to get released to the Public. Would be very insightful
regarding how these operations are conducted. I think the Public should know at least to some reasonable extent. I know I'm
interested in this.
Cheers,
