I think that I heard them also from my QTH in SE Michigan. There was a break of about 10 minutes, so not sure if I heard 1 or 2 stations, but did heard several songs including Blue Rodeo, Joni Mitchell, and Neil Young before going silent at about 0012 UTC. Had to use the filtering on my radio to even hear that much.

I'm not an expert on propagation - but possibility is that Michigan could be close enough the sig was skipping "over" you, but considering this, yours is a good catch!
Welcome!

Thx Corq,
You are absolutely right. Vertical antennas have "skip zones" that can range anywhere from about 200 miles (short skip) to the 700-800 mile range. In my case, I was using an omnidirectional (vertical) antenna making it impossible for me to get a bearing on their signal.
