Title: Super drifty out of band ham 6875 +/- AM 1458 UTC 1 Apr 2017
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on April 01, 2017, 1819 UTC
SDR recording catch.  I was going to log this as a pirate testing a homebrew rig, but instead it appears it was a ham.

There were frequent short transmissions, with a very drifty carrier. Each transmission, the carrier frequency would drift down about 1 kHz during the several minute long transmission.
Signals were weak at first, then got stronger, as the band opened. This was one side of the transmission. Mention of AM Rally.

Last heard at 1526.

Oh my, I hope it wasn't me.  8)
Worked Cape Cod last night with 25 watts on 40 M in the AM rally. I was pleased. Lots of activity on 40 and 80.
