Hearing fast CW right on 6825 kHz, a quick Googling reveals this is a widely-known French military CW frequency, often used for training purposes.

Bit early for me to hear as it's 1510hrs local this way and 6MHz not open.
Will check later during the night, so presume this is in France and not an overseas French possession?
Good catch... ;D

My presumption ;D is that it's coming from France but it's entirely possible it's coming from an overseas French department / location or a mobile source. Did you end up hearing them on 6825 kHz / 6.825 MHz on your side of the globe?

R4002: As mentioned it's way too early to hear that here as the time is only 3.10pm in the afternoon, broad daylight with grey line at least two hours plus away so not much chance, will look later in the evening when EU is available from 0900z onwards if the band is good... :D

I had a look on the Grey Line yesterday evening and at numerous times during the night and early this morning and zero on 6.825MHz, only an "idler" transmission on 6.824MHz noted.
If the transmission was from French Polynesia or New Caledonia it would have been audible here, safe to say it's not in Oceania. :)
