Hearing bits and pieces of the usual Spanish speakers that hang out on 6900 kHz LSB this morning. Lots of other two-way activity on the band this morning, but now the "main" frequency is active.
6900 kHz (both USB and LSB modes) appears to be the primary frequency for North America for Spanish speaking freebanders, outbanders and bootleggers operating in the "43 meter band" (6700-7000 kHz, officially the fixed and mobile fixed/mobile ITU assigned frequency band of 6765-7000 kHz).
