Just pulled this in on the usual Half Moon Bay CA based SDR. Gotta be a pirate, right? Signal at about S6 - S7. Oh, and I was using LSB at the time.

Now hearing some QRM under it in AM mode. What could this be, some ham?

Yes, pretty sure this was a ham playing music, vs an "actual" pirate.

8)
Ever since 2007, Ham radio has had more child's banders who do play music without an ID.
This is but one of reasons I do-not work ham bands much these days and much prefer to do a more productive SWL hobby I began at age 12 with a Hallicrafters S-38E in 1957 ! :-[

The recording associated with the second link is in Korean, I believe. KBS or North Korea with jamming in the background.
There is plenty of music being played and jamming on the 80m ham band at night on the west coast.
